sportsbook and Players only move from Cake to Merge
In just a few days poker players from sporsbook, playersonly and supoerbook will be switched over to Merge software. Jazette Enterprises owner of sporsbook, playersonly and supoerbook have decided to leave the Cake network, with no real reason other than a preference in choice. Cake stated that they are disappointed in the decision and say Jazette Enterprises was very good to work with. sportsbook is one of the largest online sportsbook and had a lot of the player base on the Cake network. The merge network is expected to grow 4x over night with the addition sportsbook and Playersonly players.

powerpoker would like to announce from March 15th they will honor all existing "Loyalty Rewards" for former players of exiting CakeNetwork rooms which include sportsbook, playersonly, lockpoker & pokerhost.
What does this mean for players?
If you are a poker player at sportsbook or any of the other sites being moved to merge you have nothing to worry about. The transmission should be quick little to no downtime. Your account will be moved to the new software, a simple update will allow you to play on the new sportsbook poker software. Merge is great poker software with many options although some people don't like change.
