Minnesota Vikings -1 Over Chicago Bears
With all the drama and stories about the Vikings this season it may be easy to overlook the fact that this team is struggling. Brett Favre's supposed swan song is not going as planned, he is having one of the worst seasons of his career. Meanwhile his head coach is as lame a duck as they come and probably won't survive this season, even if they make the playoffs. On the other side the Bears look to be in the middle of rebuilding, they have some nice young players but need to upgrade the overall talent level.
Offensively the Vikings should look towards giving stud runningback Adrian Peterson around 30 carries while looking to control the clock and not make mistakes on offense. Normally the Vikings have a fairly balanced offense that skews towards passing more but this week, unless they get down big look for them to call a lot of runs and really try to take it to this Bears D.
For the Bears offense they have Offensive Coordinator Mike Martz leading the way with his unique style of gamecalling. Martz is a guy who for some reason really seems to hate running the ball. With a good young runningback in Matt Forte he should definitely focus on playing a more smash mouth style of football.
On defense the Vikings have been slacking thus far, they have a very small amount of sacks compared to years past, and their secondary regularly looks like swiss cheese.
This year the biggest concern for the Bears defense is staying healthy. Brian Urlacher makes a huge difference for his team when on the field, but he hasn't been on the field enough during the last few years.

I like the Vikings, they have way more talent than the Bears, and with the Bears weak line this could be the week Jared Allen and the Vikes front four explode.
