These are two teams that have been very successful this year, Edmonton who is 5-0 for the first time in over 30 years, and Winnipeg who have started the year 4-1. Both of these teams are coming off of wins last week. Edmonton won a late game thriller with a game winning catch by Fred Stamps. While Winnipeg won last weeks game thanks to their kicker Palardy who hit all 4 of the field goals he attempted. Both of these teams have had a surprising season so far since last season neither team even made the playoffs. This year Winnipeg is playing well due to their running game, and their defence. Fred Reid is leading the league so far with 374 rushing yards. While their defence is getting done by getting sacks, and putting pressure on the offence. Odell Willis Winnipeg's DE is leading the league in sacks this year with 7 already. He and other Bombers defenders are making any offence hard to run. While Winnipeg is getting things done by running the ball, Edmonton is getting things done by throwing the ball. With Ricky Ray leading the league in Throwing yards, and Stamps leading the League in Receiving yards the Eskimos have been moving the ball very well through the air. Ray and Stamps have played unbelievable football together so far, and it seems like Stamps catches every pass Ray throws to him. The Eskimos have been playing great football and I see it continuing in to week 6.
Edmonton Eskimos Winnipeg Blue-Bombers Betting Pick
I see Edmonton going 6-0 in this week 6 game against Winnipeg. After seeing last weeks late game heroics against Toronto, Edmonton looks like the team to beat, and I don't think Winnipeg can do it. There is no point spread for this game, so take Edmonton to win. I also see this being a very high scoring game, so take the over bet on 49.5 points. Both of these teams can and will put up points on each other. It's still going to be a close game, but Edmonton walks away on top in this game.
