Jacksonville Jaguars +3 Over Tennessee Titans
Last week the Jaguars choked in a game they should have won against the Giants. This week they go up against a reeling Titans team that looks to start golden oldie Kerry Collins this week at Quarterback. The Titans star runningback Chris Johnson has been having a tough season, and it can't get worse for him then last weekend when he had just 7 yards from scrimmage.
After a rough stretch early in the season All-Pro Maurice Jones-Drew has caught fire over the last 4 weeks having no games with under 100 yards from scrimmage. That sort of encapsulates everything Jacksonville tries to do on offense, they want to pound the ball to Mojo to keep the defense honest and then take some shots downfield with David Garrard. This is a solid offensive unit when Mojo is running well.
 The Titans offense works by getting Chris Johnson the ball. With Vince Young out for the season now that job gets a lot harder. Quarterback play is the achilles heel of this team, if they look to win another game this season they need solid play from their Quarterback to take the pressure off of the run game.
The Jaguars defense is to be blunt, pretty bad. They are 27th in the league in points against, most of that can be attributed to the secondary. The most apt description for their secondary would be swiss cheese, because there are so many holes in there.
The Titans defense has been solid this year sitting at 8th overall in points against, however that looks to be pretty fluky based on their 24th rank in yards against. A big matchup to watch in this game is how they play early against Maurice Jones-Drew.
My Pick: Without Vince Young Chris Johnson is not as effective, Kerry Collins is too old to be effective, and Maurice Jones-Drew is really good. Jaguars win by 10.
