Indianapolis Colts -8 Over Jacksonville Jaguars; get the best odds at Brobury Sportsbook
Coming into this week the Colts are 2-1 and the Jaguars are 1-2. Last weekend the 2 teams had pretty polarizing games, with Indianapolis dominating Denver and Jacksonville getting spanked by Philly.
Now traditionally these 2 rivals have had close games, but this week it should be different. The Colts offense is too good for a Jaguars D that is in shambles. Peyton Manning runs that team too well, the mixture of run and
pass plays called by Manning will be enough to keep Jacksonville from gearing up against the pass. The Jaguars offense however is relying on Maurice Jones-Drewto try to keep them in the game. David Garrard is just not
a good Quarterback, also as an aside why the hell did Jacksonville give him that huge contract so quickly after 1 good year.
Defensively neither of these teams are very good. The Colts have some big defensive playmakers like Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Antoine Bethea but overall their defense isn’t exactly what you’d call top notch.
The Jaguars were once considered a feared defense but in the last couple of years they’ve lost that, this year is no different, however first round pick Tyson Alualu and free agent signing Aaron Kampman have given them
more of a pass rush presence than they’ve had in a while.
