The 3-3 Atlanta Falcons are coming in to the house of the 5-1 Lions. So far we have seen the Falcons have great games with big wins, and then bad games with bad losses. It’s all been the inconsistency of Matt Ryan. He has played great in some games throwing for multiple touchdowns, leading the team down field and making great throws, but at other times we’ve seen him make bad throws, in-completions, and leaving the Falcons lost. We know that Micheal Turner is going to run the ball well so it will be interesting to see how Matt Ryan will play. For the Lions it’s just the Calvin Johnson show. He has been unstoppable this year, if Matthew Stafford can just get the ball to Johnson the Lions are going to win this game. A great help to the passing game has been the emergence of Jahvid Best. If they Have a stable running game to go along with their great passing game, they’ll be the team to beat this year.

 This week I have to take the Lions. The Falcons defense just isn’t good enough to stop Calvin Johnson, and the Lion’s passing game. I see the Falcons putting up a fight in this game, but in the end losing by 7 points. For the Over/Under I think this game will be over. Even though Matt Ryan has been inconsistent this year, I think he will show up this game and give the Lions a bit of a scare. Take the over of 47.5 in this high scoring shootout.
