Tonight the Philadelphia 76ers hope to even the series as in their last meeting the Miami Heat pulled out a victory winning 89-97. The game was much close than the final scores shows with the 76 having a largest lead of 14 during that game and the Heat had the largest lead of 16 points at one point. This was a back and forth battle that ended in the Heats favor. Philadelphia has shown all season they can compete with the best teams and tonight they will have to put on a perfect performance to win game 2 tonight.

 Miami seems to have problems blowing a team out and in the playoffs we rarely see a blowout. Not to say a 9 point spread is equal to a blow out but in a late game playoff situation 9 points is a lot to cover by. I like Philadelphia to keep this game close running the ball and playing with more athletic energy than the Heat. The Heat are also dealing with a sting of injuries Erick Dampier, Mike Miller and Dwyane Wade are all listed as probable for tonight. They will all likely play but the slightest injury can hamper a players abilities and be a huge mental block.
The total combined score is set at 189 by oddsmakers and is the focus on my money pick for this game. I have had excellent luck with the totals in this years playoffs winning 7 out of 8 and I hope to continue tonight with betting on the over. I can see the Heat scoring close to 100 points tonight and with the 76ers keeping it close the game will surpass the over total.
