Pius Heinz a German poker pro is on the top of the poker world as he heads into the final day of the World Series of Poker 2026 as a huge chip leader.  Puis started the Final table with the seventh largest chip stack (out of ten) but worked his way up by eliminating Anton Makiievskyi in 8^th position and Phil Collins  5^th. Both hands Heinz won the hand with pocket nines and in both cases he was able to hit trips on the turn.

Great Britain's Sam Holden finished 9th place as Finalist Ben Lamb emilinated him with a club flush. Lambs AK off suit was to much for Holden's AJ suited.

Bob Bounahra was knocked out in 7th place as he was short stacked and forced to push with A 5 and it was called by Martin Staszko's A 9

Eoghan O'Dea 6th place paid him $1,720,831. He was crippled as he lost a big pot to Ben Lamb, Lamb was at risk as O'Dea had 2 million chips more than him. Lamb managed to hit an 8 on the river as his Q 8 was able to beat Eoghan's A9. A hard beat to swallow. He was then forced to play with Q6 and got a call from Martin Staszko' pocket eights.

Giannetti was eliminated on the 178th hand played at the final table finishing 4^th and taking home a prize of  $3,012,700.
