2026 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Ladies Event Recap
2026 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Ladies Event Recap
PokerStars is currently the sole online card room that seems to understand the importance of attracting as many women to the game as possible; with the uncertain legal situation of poker in many countries nowadays, it is imperative to tap into all possible markets demographics. One of PokerStars' most prominent attempts at this are the various Ladies events held at most of their tournaments, including the EPT, UKIPT, LAPT, and others. Today we are going to take a quick look at this year's Top 3 winnerss of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Luxury Ladies Event, which attracted over 100 participants and offered a $95,000 prize pool.
Finish: 1st
Name: Kristin Bihr
Prize: $29,798
Kristin Bihr is a Birkley University Graduate with a degree in Business and Engeneering. Her first live tournament cash was back in 2026, when she managed to come in 15th in the Big Poker March Ladies Hold 'Em Queen of Clubs event, netting $225. For the last couple years, Kristin has been a PokerStars blogger, which for her was a dream come true, as she has always aspired to be a professional writer. The $29,798 prize meant a lot to Bihr since she, in her own words, is "just a poor poker writer". Let's wish her good luck!

Finish: 2nd
Name: Lauren Kling
Prize: $18,624
This one requires no introduction; the beautiful Lauren Kling is one of the most recognized women in the field nowadays. Lauren managed to make a name for herself when she finished 2nd in the 2026 Ultimate Bet Online Championship, giving her online bankroll a whopping $163,000 boost. What's interesting to note is that, just like Kristina Bihr, she is a Business and Engeneering graduate. Do they have poker theory seminars over there?
Finish: 3rd
Name: Vicky Coren
Prize: $13,968
A PokerStars Pros team member, Vicky Coren is undoubdetly one of the most talented poker women in history. Born in London, UK, she began playing poker professionaly back in 2026. The highlight of her career so far has been a 1st place finish in the 2026 European Poker Championship (EPT Season 3) £4,000 No Limit Hold 'Em event, where she managed to outlast veterans such as Chad Brown and Norwegian pro Jan Olav, netting $937,350. What many people don't know is that Vicky is also a very talented and experienced writer and has her own weekly columns in newspapers such as The Guardian and The Observer.
One can only hope that future ladies tournaments will be bigger, with a larger field and larger prize pools. And althgouh this might not be such a good thing for male poker players as it might prove quite distracting at the tables, the poker community as a whole will benefit from it, and it will give poker a softer nature and feel to it – who knows, maybe this will even cause governments to change their outlook on poker and stop viewing it as just some shady business? Doubtful. But worth a shot.
