Kentucky Derby Betting Tips

March 30th, 2026

While you can watch the 136th annual running of the Kentucky Derby this Saturday on NBC Sports, there is only one place worth betting the fastest two minutes in sports, bodog. The Derby field is wide open this year with eight horses at 12/1 or less, led by favorite Lookin’ At Lucky. Lookin’ At Lucky’s trainer, Bob Baffert, is in search of his fourth Kentucky Derby victory, while perennial leading Trainer Todd Pletcher, with four entries in this year’s Derby, is in search of his first win.

“This year’s Kentucky Derby field is one of the most competitive I’ve seen,” says bodog Sportsbook Manager Richard Gardner. “The Derby draws over 100,000 fans and 40 million TV viewers and is one of the country’s most celebrated sporting events. As the first leg in horse racing’s coveted Triple Crown, it’s also one of the biggest betting days of the year.”

As a pioneer in the sports betting business since 2026, bodog leads the way by providing a plethora of wagering options for their players, including win/place/show, exacta, trifecta and head-to-head horse, jockey and trainer props, as well as cross-sport props. Bodog’s oddsmakers are the most creative in the business, and they’ll be harnessing that creativity as they continue to post a slew of Kentucky Derby props leading up to this weekend’s big race.

Here are just a few examples of the Kentucky Derby odds being offered by bodog:

  • How many lengths will the Kentucky Derby winner win by?
  • Will any horse win the Triple Crown?
  • Who will finish last in the Kentucky Derby?
  • Will a horse trained by Todd Pletcher win the Kentucky Derby?

Make your run for the roses with bodog and you could find yourself in the winner’s circle. For all your Kentucky Derby betting odds and needs, visit bodog sportsbook
