Gilbert Arenas Is Funny.

I like talking about fluff stories, and since the " Rashard Lewis fucked LeBrons girl" story has been done to death I'll talk about good ol' Gilbert Arenas exploits on theTwitter. So last night Gilbert decided to live tweet a blind date he went on, and it didn't seem to go very well.
Here is a screencap:

Now I've always been a fan of Gilbert, he always struck me as a regular guy like me who just so happened to be immensely talented. He was always fun and exciting to watch, and he's actually funny. In the era of almost every single player giving canned media responses a guy like Gilbert is gold. To not only be extremely talented but also seemingly a good teammate and leader and then be an interesting character too is so rare.
I don't understand why I see so much hate for guys like this, Ochocinco is one of the most interesting football players I've ever had the pleasure of watching, and all he ever gets is shit on by people because he likes to tweet. This bothers me so fucking much; I can't stand it when people try to get these candid outspoken types of players to follow the corporate rule. This is the same shit as the whole Joe Rogan ordeal, "Oh you shouldn't say that it's bad for the company image." It's unbelievable for me to think that regular everyday Joes like you or I would care about the corporate image of a league or a team. Anyways I've rambled on long enough, to conclude Gilbert tweeting = good corporate athletes spouting clichés = bad. You can follow Gilbert`s account here, and for the love of god people please pull the sticks out of your asses and enjoy the lighter side of life.
