FullTilt Rush Poker

January 20th, 2026

Join The Rush!

Recently Full Tilt has released a fun and innovated way of playing, called Rush Poker. Rush Poker is a new type of poker where every time you fold or a hand ends, you are moved to a completely new table of random players and dealt a new hand right away. This increases the amount of hands you are able to play which can result in the possibility of winning more money. The way it works is that each blind level, there is a large group of players that are randomly assigned to a table and dealt a hand. You can simply play your hand or fold and repeat the whole process over again. This is very interesting concept because it affects the game of poker significantly. The main advantage of Rush Poker is that it takes away the whole patience aspect of No Limit Hold'em. Once you fold a hand and are not part of the pot, instead of waiting until the rest of the players finish, you can be dealt a brand new hand right away. This will attract many players who find the patience process of poker being dull and boring. Another way it affects the normal game of poker is that there is a considerable amount of focus on just the cards and only the cards. Personally I have played Rush Poker the last couple days and it seems that most players just wait for the big cards such as AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ and continually play these. This really affects the experienced players who feel that they can win with marginal hands after pre-flop but with Rush Poker, their odds are simply decreased and outnumbered.

There are also disadvantages of Rush Poker. The first is the blind level. Since you are randomly selected for a new table, the blinds are not always in order and are randomly selected. Therefore, you may become big blind twice in a row and your table position may not always accurate compared to playing a normal game.  Also, since you are placed against random opponents, it is tough to figure out common characteristics each player possesses because you are only playing with them for one hand at a time. It is very difficult to gather information about players and put a read on them since you are placed against many randomized opponent.

WORD OF THOUGHT

After playing Rush Poker the last couple days, I've realized that this game is really just a game of best hand. I've tried playing different types of hands to see how I do but I find that waiting for the best hands is most obvious. Plus, if there is no real patience involved in the game, why wouldn't you wait for the best hand?

From all of this, I believe this is a great idea from Full Tilt. The more hands people play, the more rake they receive. This is one very smart concept since it benefits both side of the table. I predict that Rush Poker will increase in interest just because it is a very unique game and can be very addicting!
