Online Black Jack Tips

March 2nd, 2026

Online Black Jack

Blackjack has always been known by bettors to provide them with the best odds to beat the casino compared to all the other standard casino games such as roulette or backgammon.

The rules of the game are fairly simple. First, players must place a wager before being dealt any cards. Then all players that placed a wager as well as the dealer are dealt two cards, with the first card being dealt face down followed by the second card being dealt face up.

The objective of the game is to either get as close as possible to 21 or get a 21, which is known as blackjack, and is an automatic win that pays out 1.5 times your wager. Cards from 2 to 9 have the same value as the number on the card. Tens, jacks, queens, and kings have values of 10. Lastly, aces have values of either 1 or 11.  These rules are similar to other online casino games

After receiving your two cards you can then either hit or stay whenever you wish, but obviously if you go over 21, you lose. All players will act from left to right from the dealer. The dealer then will flip his hidden card and if he shows less than 17, he must hit until he gets 17 or higher, which in the end will be his final hand. The dealer will also lose if he goes over 21.

You can split any two same cards that you are dealt. Your wager on the second hand will be the same as your initial wager, and you will have two different hands against the dealer. Keep in mind that each hand will count as its own hand, so if you lose one and win the other you’ll break even for that deal/hand.

You can also double down after seeing your first two cards. This will double your bet, but you will only get to hit that card, then you must stand.

There’s also insurance, but I recommend it shouldn’t be used, so I won’t discuss it.

Tips

- If a dealer is showing a 6, stand on any two cards that equal 12 or more.

- Always split aces.

- Sit on 15 or higher if the dealer shows a 2 to 6.

- The best time to double down is when your two cards equal 11 and the dealer is showing a 6.

Another great way to double, triple or even quadruple your casino bankroll is to register for casino that offer the best casino bonuses . Most casinos give bonuses ranging from 100% – 300% on 1st deposits up to set limits of $500 or as large as $2500. Depending on where you play bonuses will be different.  Check out reviews on casinos you like to find the largest bonus at that time.
